Farewell Clown - Finding the Rainbow in a Tear
with Christine Scherzer
As a farewell clown, I work at funerals for families where a child has died or where children have lost a loved one. Clowns open the heart and the senses to the here and now and create moments in which the soul can breathe a sigh of relief.
Hardly anyone dares to invite clowns to a funeral - yet the archetype of the CLOWN is predestined like no other to explore the absurdity of human existence and to navigate the border areas of life and death in a dreamlike manner.
I want to enter into a dialogue with you: about how the power of the CLOWN works in my life and in the lives of those who allow themselves to be touched by it.
