Mourning Art - an Introductory Workshop
with Pavel Radchenko
Anger-works are a special element of the mourning art workshops. The death of someone close to you can trigger many feelings, including anger and despair. However, the last two are not very compatible with our social norms. Accordingly, the angry part of grief is rarely lived out. Forcibly transforming memorabilia provides a channel for this.
You can become active yourself or talk to the artist. The offer is aimed both at mourners who are looking for new paths and at those interested who want to have their own experiences with this creative work.
Please bring any personal material you would like to work with to the workshop. These can be printed photos, slide films, letters, notes with the deceased person's handwriting, postcards, book covers, collected stamps or beer mats, textiles and much more.
