Hello and Goodbye
In her lecture, the photographer and author of the book HELLO UND AUF WIEDERSEHEN will talk about the process of developing her project. What was her personal motivation? How did she come into contact with the protagonists? What challenges did she face in accompanying them? She will also discuss the artistic process of selecting images and developing her visual language. Which images can and should be shown in order to show birth and death in their authenticity - without frightening, but also without romanticising? There is also an excursus on how people give birth and die in Germany - and why desire and reality are so often at odds.
