The Todomat: Dying Prepared

You will die. Imagine for a moment that it happens tomorrow – after all, you can’t rule it out. What if tomorrow were your last day? Are you prepared? If you're younger than the average life expectancy and in good health, death may seem distant and unlikely. But for that very reason, we might face it unprepared.

In this workshop, we will introduce the "Todomat" – the world’s first interactive legacy configurator. It was developed as part of the transformative research project "Xtopien" and prompts reflection and discussion around wishes, fears, challenges, and possibilities regarding death, farewells, and dealing with legacies. Together, we will engage with the Todomat's key questions and explore how these reflections can help us bring a future perspective on the essential questions of human life into the present.
